Six students plus one teacher at Greene County Early College grace the cover of the September issue of Carolina Country magazine after journalist Michael E. C. Gery spent time with them.  Inside the magazine you’ll find a two-page spread touting the accomplishments of the Early College students.  Those successes aren’t just academic ones.  Students started a campaign called “An Eye for Aiven,” a community service project which raised enough money to fund the cost of a new prosthetic eye not covered by insurance.  Aiven’s story is featured as well.
